  Step 1:  Open the Control Panel

Click the Start menu button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  Step 2:  Display System Settings

Open a Report
When the Control Panel's dialog box appears. Double-click Game Controllers.
  Step 3:  Removing the Game Controller

Open a Report
The Game Controllers dialog box appears. Click the name of the controller you want to uninstall and click the Remove button.
  Step 4:  Confirmation

Open a Report
After you click Remove, a dialog box appears asking if you're sure you want to remove the game controller from the system. If you are, click OK. If not, click Cancel.
  Step 5:  Closing the Control Panel

The Confirm Device Removal dialog box disappears after you click OK. Click OK again to close the System Control panel. Unlike when you install a game controller, you don't need to reboot your system for the change to take effect.
