| Click the Start menu button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. |

| When the Control Panel's dialog box appears. Double-click Game Controllers. |

| The Game Controllers dialog box appears. Click the name of the controller you want to uninstall and click the Remove button. |

| After you click Remove, a dialog box appears asking if you're sure you want to remove the game controller from the system. If you are, click OK. If not, click Cancel. |

| The Confirm Device Removal dialog box disappears after you click OK. Click OK again to close the System Control panel. Unlike when you install a game controller, you don't need to reboot your system for the change to take effect. |
