  Step 1:  Go to the Welcome Screen

Open a Report
If you do not have the software open, click Select StartÞProgramsÞPalo Alto SoftwareÞMarketing Plan Pro from your desktop and run the software. This will automatically take you to the welcome screen. If you are already in the program, save and exit, then restart the application.
  Step 2:  Select Open a Sample Plan

From the Welcome Screen, Select "Open A Sample Plan".
  Step 3:  Choose a Sample Plan to View

Open a Report
A window will appear displaying the sample plans provided as part of your installation. Highlight the file name you wish to open, and select the "Open" button. The sample plan selected will then open.

The Task Manager and Tips windows will open automatically. Close the tips window by clicking on the "X" in the top right corner of the tips window. The Task Manager will then display sections of the sample plan.
  Step 5:  Selecting a Sample Plan View

Open a Report
The task manager consists of two columns. The left column lists sections of the sample plan. The right column lists sub-tasks within each section. To view a particular sub-task, select the appropriate section on the left column first. For example, to view a sample plan's Mission Statement, select "Your Company", the background section for a plan. Mission Statement will then appear in the right column of sub-tasks. Selecting Mission Statement will open the mission statement for the sample plan.
