  Step 1:  Using the Layer-Offset Tool

Open a Report
The Layer-Offset Tool is used in conjunction with the layers palette to offset layers.
  Step 2:  Offsetting a Layer

Open a Report
To use the Layer-Offset Tool by dragging, select the layer that you want to affect. Then click on the Layer-Offset tool and click and drag on the layer you want to offset.
  Step 3:  Offsetting a Layer

Open a Report
To use the Layer-Offset Tool, select the layer that you want to affect, then click and hold the Ctrl key and drag over the center of the object, to offset the layer.
