| Linking Text boxes allows you to seamlessly continue text from one area to another. It's a handy tool for newsletter and brochure designing. You type all the text into the first text box. Some of the text will not be visible. You then link to a new text box, which displays the hidden text. First, open a text box and type in your text, making sure some of the text is hidden from view. |

| Now create another box anywhere on the project. For the link to work, you cannot type anything at all into the new box. Just keep it blank. |

| Now select your original text box. Click on the link icon at the bottom of the box - it looks like three links of a chain. Once you click on it your cursor will change into a small box of text with a cross through it. Position the cursor over the new text box and click to select it. |

| The text that was hidden in the first box now appears in the second box. An arrow at the top of the box indicates that the text is linked to a previous text box. When selected, the original text box also has an arrow, only it is positioned at the bottom of the box. Clicking either one of the arrows takes you to the other box. |
