Step 2:  Adding a Program Shortcut

Click the tab for the Start Menu program. Click the Add button. Click Browse to locate the program you want to add to the Start menu. If you know the exact path you can enter that as well. Click Next. Choose the folder on the Start Menu where the icon should be stored. If you'd like, you can create a new folder to hold these shortcuts. Choose next when ready to move on.
  Step 3:  Finishing the Addition

Open a Report
Name the shortcut a name that will be easy to remember when accessing the file. Choose Finish and the shortcut will be added.
Step 4:  Adding a Shortcut Fast

Open a Report
You can add a short cut to the top of the Start Menu by dragging and dropping the shortcut or program icon onto the Start Menu. The shortcut is added to the top of the Start Menu, not in the Programs folder.
