Draw a Shape or a Line in a Note
Windows Journal has commands that allow you to add basic shapes to your notes. Just draw the shape, and Journal converts it to the perfect shape that you want in your note.
To create a square:
- On the Pen toolbar, tap Pen.
- In an open space in your note, draw a square.
- On the Pen toolbar, tap Selection Tool.
- Tap the drawing.
- Tap the Actions menu, point to Change Shape To, and then tap Square.
When you convert a drawing to a square:
- The new square expands to the size of the selection box.
- The new square replaces all of the ink that you select. If you select pictures, flags, or text boxes along with your drawing, Journal cannot convert the shape.
- To restore your original ink drawing, on the Standard toolbar, tap Undo.
