Uninstall Tablet PC Optional Components

Use the following steps to add or remove accessories, such as Tablet PC Input Panel, Windows Journal, and Snipping Tool, or add or remove certain features, such as handwriting recognizers.

  1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, tap or click Control Panel.

  2. In the Control Panel window, click Uninstall a Program.

  3. In the Uninstall or change a program window, click Turn Windows features on or off.

  4. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

  5. In the Windows Features dialog box, click to clear Tablet PC Optional Components, and then click OK.

  6. The features are removed.

  7. In the Microsoft Windows dialog box, click Restart Now.
