The Input Panel Icon Does Not Appear Near a Text Entry Area

  • In Input Panel, tap Tools, and then tap Options. Tap the Opening tab, and then make sure that the For tablet pen input, show the Input Panel icon next to the text entry area when possible check box is selected.

  • The Input Panel icon does not appear next to all text entry areas. When it does not appear, use the Input Panel tab instead.

  • Input Panel is unavailable if you use Remote Desktop to connect to your Tablet PC.

  • Your system administrator might have turned off the Input Panel icon.
