• Use handwriting recognition personalization to teach the handwriting recognizer how you write.

• If you are writing in Japanese, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), or Korean, Input Panel may not recognize proper names or names of streets and parks unless you turn on handwriting recognition for rarely used Chinese, Kanji, or Hanja characters.

• To turn on handwriting recognition for rarely used Chinese, Kanji, or Hanja characters, in Input Panel, tap Tools, and then tap Options. Tap the Advanced tab, and then select the Recognize rarely used Chinese, Kanji, or Hanja characters when converting handwriting to typed text check box.
