Q: What are the next steps for submitting my Windows Express Upgrade?

A: After submitting your order request you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The e-mail instructs you to send in the original or a certified copy of your proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, and so forth) and a redemption form to a service center in your area.

You are required to submit a proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, and so forth). A redemption form is not necessary for Gateway/eMachines customers.
