My Music within Media Center

  • Albums - All albums in the media library are sorted by list or by cover and displayed as thumbnail graphics of the album cover along with the album title.

    Note: If Media Center is unable to access cover graphics for an album, it will display a generic graphic instead.

    • Play - Plays the selected song.

      • View Cover - Displays the album cover.
      • View Queue - Displays the Now Playing queue.
      • Shuffle - Plays songs in a random order.
      • Repeat - Plays the album repeatedly.
      • Buy Music - Allows you to select and purchase music online from within Media Center.

        Note: An active Internet connection is required for this feature to work.

      • Visualize - Plays visualizations while an album or track is playing.
      • Edit Queue - Allows you to modify the list of tracks set for playing.
    • Add to Queue - Adds the album to the Now Playing queue.
    • Create CD/DVD - Allows you to burn tracks to a CD or DVD.
    • Edit Info - You can modify the metadata for the album. The album title, album name and genre can be modified.
    • Delete - Deletes the album from the hard drive.

  • Artists - All the tracks in the media library are sorted by the artist's name.
  • Playlists - Displays all existing playlists. Media Center displays both custom playlists and auto playlists.
  • Songs - All the tracks in the media library are sorted by their song title.
  • Genres - Displays the tracks in the media library categorized by the genre specified for each track in the track's metadata.
  • Search - Searches for a specific track in the music library. Searches the metadata of the tracks for album title, song title, artist name, and genre category.
