How do I add music to a playlist in Windows Media Player 2005?

To add items to a playlist, use the following steps.

  1. In Windows Media Player, click Library, and then click the song that you want to add to a playlist.

  2. Right-click on the song title, select Add to, and then select the playlist name to add the song to.

  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add as many songs to the playlist as you want.

Note: Items can also be added to a playlist by dragging files from the Library or from My Computer. Items may be added to a playlist as long as they are listed in Library. If the item that you want to add to a playlist is not in Library, it must be added to the Library before it can be added to a playlist.
