Index

It is not recommended to remove indexed locations, since they help perform fast searches on the hard drive. If you wish to continue, use the steps below.

  1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: indexing options, and then press ENTER.

  2. In the Indexing Options dialog box, click Modify.

  3. In the Indexed Locations dialog box, click Show all locations.

  4. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

  5. In the Indexed Locations dialog box, click to clear the locations you wish to remove from the index. When finished, click OK.

  6. In the Indexing Options dialog box, click Close.
