Programs and Features

Programs and Features has similar functionality as Add or Remove programs in Windows XP. To open Programs and Features, use the following steps:

From the Windows Vista default Start menu, click Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, click Uninstall a Program.

On the graphic, click the hyperlinks to move through the various screens.

Get new programs online at Windows Marketplace
View purchased software (digital locker)
Turn Windows features on or off

Troubleshoot Installing or Uninstalling Programs

I installed a program but I do not see it listed under Programs and Features.
Some programs that are included with Windows, such as games, do not show up under Programs and Features. How do I install or uninstall them?
When trying to install a program from a CD, I insert the CD but nothing happens.
I cannot install a program made for an earlier version of Windows.
What does 'change a program' mean?
