Q: How do I disable ALL pop-ups even if they are launched after I click a link or button on a Web site?

A: To disable all pop-ups, you need to reconfigure Internet Explorer.

Use the following steps to configure Internet Explorer to disable all pop-ups.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.

  3. In the Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box, from the Filter Level drop down menu, select High: Block all pop-ups (Ctrl to override). Click Close.

Note: If you want to see pop-ups that are blocked when you have this setting turned on, hold down the CTRL key while the window opens.
