Q: What are the supported file types?

A: You can use Media Center to view the following types of video files:

  • .wm, .asf
  • .wmv
  • .avi
  • .mpeg, .mpg, .mpe, m1v, mp2, .mpv2

Note: The codecs for these file types are available to you by default. If you install new codecs, you may be able to play additional file types using Media Center.
