Q: Left speaker setting controls single speaker system

Notebooks that ship with a single speaker rather than stereo speakers will have the volume controlled by the left speaker control in the Operating System.

Changing the volume level for the right speaker control will not adjust the volume on the notebook..

The Operating System will automatically display both right and left volume controls even if the notebook is only equipped with one speaker.
