The computer employs hotkeys or key combinations to access certain of the computer's controls like LCD screen brightness and volume output.
To activate the hotkeys, press and hold <Fn> before pressing any other key in the key combination.

<Fn> + <F3>		Communication Device Toggle	Launches the Communication Manager application to enable or disable the Wifi, 3G, or Bluetooth devices.
<Fn> + <F4>		Sleep	Puts the computer in Sleep mode.
<Fn> + <F5>		Display toggle	Switches the display output between internal LCD display, an external monitor, or both.
<Fn> + <F6>		Backlight toggle	Toggles the LCD backlight on or off.
<Fn> + <F7>		Touchpad toggle	Toggles the touchpad on or off.
<Fn> + <F8>		Mute toggle	Mutes or unmutes the speakers.
<Fn> + <F9>		Play / pause	Plays or pauses media.
<Fn> + <F10>		Stop	Stops playing media.
<Fn> + <F11>		Previous	Skips to the previous track
<Fn> + <F12>		Next	Skips to the next track.
<Fn> + <Left>		Brightness down	Decreases the screen brightness.
<Fn> + <Right>		Brightness up	Increases the screen brightness.
<Fn> + <Down>		Volume down	Decreases the sound volume.
<Fn> + <Up>		Volume up	Increases the sound volume.
