Number Icon Description
1. Image: Icon_BatteryRelease.gif Battery latch, slide to release the battery.
2. Image: icon_battery.png Battery, provides power when the notebook is not plugged into AC power.
3. Image: Icon_BatteryLock.gif Battery lock, slide to unlock the battery.
4.   Hard drive, memory, and wireless network card bay
5.   Ventilation fan that helps cool the internal components.

Note: Do not block or insert objects into these slots. If these slots are blocked, your notebook may overheat resulting in unexpected shutdown or permanent damage to the notebook.
