Q: Updating PowerDVD may solve Blu-ray movie playback issues

A: The following information applies to notebooks that shipped with Blu-ray optical drives.

The number of Blu-ray movie titles and movie features continue to expand over time, and updates to the Cyberlink PowerDVD Blu-ray player software may be required to stay compatible with the newest titles.

To update the Cyberlink PowerDVD software:

1. Connect to the Internet.
2. Open the Cyberlink Power DVD application.
3. Click the arrow in the upper left hand corner of the window next to Cyberlink PowerDVD.
4. Click on Update Now
5. Follow the prompts to install the update.

Note: The update process may have to be repeated more than once to ensure the latest version is loaded on the computer.

Reminder: Blu-ray protection software prevents Blu-ray movies from being displayed on both the notebook LCD and an external monitor at the same time.
