      Show Part Numbers

The computer employs hotkeys or key combinations to access certain of the computer's controls like LCD screen brightness and volume output.
To activate the hotkeys, press and hold <Fn> before pressing any other key in the key combination.

Hotkeys Icon Function Description
<Fn> + <F1> Image: icon_F3_PowerOptions.png Power Options Display the Power Options Properties dialog box.
<Fn> + <F2> Image: icon_systemProperties.png System Properties Display the System Properties dialog box.
<Fn> + <F3> Image: icon_bluetooth.png Bluetooth communication switch Enables or disables the Bluetooth function, if the unit is equipped
<Fn> + <F4> Image: icon_standby.png Sleep Puts the computer in Sleep mode.
<Fn> + <F5> Image: icon_F5_displaytoggle_nobutton.gif Display toggle Switches display output between the display screen, external monitor (if connected) and both.
<Fn> + <F6> Image: icon_F6_brighttoggle_nobutton.gif Screen blank Turns the display screen backlight off to save power. Press any key to return.
<Fn> + <F7> Image: F7.gif TouchPad toggle Turns the internal TouchPad on and off.
<Fn> + <F8> Image: icon_gw_mute.png Speaker toggle Turns the speakers on and off.
<Fn> + <Right Arrow> Image: FRightArrow.gif Brightness up Increases the screen brightness.
<Fn> + <Left Arrow> Image: FLeftArrow.gif Brightness down Decreases the screen brightness.
<Fn> + <Up Arrow> Image: FUpArrow.gif Volume up Increases the sound volume.
