Q: How do I install or replace the battery on this notebook?

A: To replace the battery on the notebook:

  1. If the computer is on, save your work and turn off the computer and unplug the AC adapter.
  2. Close the LCD panel.
  3. Turn the computer over so that the botton is facing up.
  4. Slide the battery lock to the unlock position and slide the battery release latch to the right

  5. Slide the battery out of the bay.
