Manually Configure the Gateway Dial-Up Server for Windows Vista
      Show Part Numbers

  1. From the Windows Vista™ default Start menu, click Connect To.

  2. In the Connect to a network dialog box, click Set up a connection or network.

  3. In the Connect to a network dialog box, click Set up a dial-up connection.

  4. In the Set up a dial-up connection dialog box, enter the information for a dial-up server, such as your ISP or a bulletin board service (BBS)

    Note: It may be necessary to click Dialing Rules and modify the settings if you dial a number to access an outside line.

  5. The connection attempts to dial out.

  6. If the connection is successful, the Set up a dial-up connection dialog box opens. Select Browse the Internet now.

  7. In the Set Network Location dialog box, select the appropriate option.

  8. In the Set Network Location dialog box, click Close.
