When Standby and Hibernate Mode are Simultaneously set in Windows 2000 on 935 Series Server, it Does Not Properly go into Standby or Hibernate Mode

Affected Products: Servers
Affected Operating Systems: Windows® 2000

ISSUE: If Windows® 2000 is set to go into suspend mode first, and then into hibernate mode some time later, when the computer attempts to initiate hibernation, it comes out of suspend mode but does not hibernate.

RESOLUTION: None. Gateway is working with the original product vendor to resolve the issue.

Note: It is not suggested that a server of even moderate use be forced into a power management state. Many applications and users demand near immediate responses from the server.
