BVRP Phone Tools does not load during an automatic reload of the hard disk

ISSUE: Using the Portable System Restoration Kit and selecting an automatic reload of the hard disk, the BVRP Phone Tools does not load automatically. The symptoms vary depending on the version of the System Restoration Kit Application CD you are using.

RESOLUTION: There are two possible resolutions depending on how it fails.

A red X is present next to BVRP on the Gateway Application Loader. The Gateway Application Loader completes and the OK button is active.

  1. In the Gateway Application Loader, click OK.

  2. In the Phone Tools Setup window, a Access Path to Windows Installation Files dialog box is present. Click OK.

  3. Do not press any keys or click anything. There is a pause between setup screens. The setup script finishes the installation of BVRP Phone tools automatically.

If the Gateway Application Loader is halted at 96%, perform the following steps:

  1. Press down the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys.

  2. In the Close Program dialog box, the Gateway Application Loader is selected. Click End Task.

  3. In the Phone Tools Setup window, a Access Path to Windows Installation Files dialog box is present. Click OK.

  4. Do not press any keys or click anything. There is a pause between setup screens. The setup script finishes the installation of BVRP Phone tools automatically.
