920-Series Server Encounters STOP 7B Error After Installing Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6A Affected Products: Servers
Affected Operating Systems: Windows NT® 4.0 ServerISSUE: After installing Microsoft® Windows NT 4.0® Service Pack 6.0A on the 920-series server and restarting,the following error may occur:
-- STOP: 0x0000007B Inaccessible_Boot_DeviceRESOLUTION: Move the boot hard drive to the tertiary (third) IDE controller on the motherboard. This should allow the user to boot the server to Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server again without reloading. If the newer revision of ATAPI.sys from the service pack is required, it is suggested that the server remain in this configuration. To reattach the boot hard drive to the primary or secondary controller, take the following steps.
