CX2750 Stylus Pen May Not Work or is Erratic

ISSUE: On a Gateway CX2750 convertible notebook computer, when attempting to use the stylus pen for the first time it may not work, have erratic movement, or is not calibrated.

RESOLUTION: Follow these steps to calibrate the convertible notebook pen.

  1. From the Windows Vista™ default Start menu, tap or click Control Panel.

  2. In Control Panel, click Mobile PC, and then click Tablet PC Settings.

  3. On the General tab, under Calibration, from the Orientation: drop down list, select the screen orientation if different that the one you are currently using and then click Calibrate.

  4. On the screen, tap the crosshair each time it appears.

  5. In the Digitizer Calibration Tool dialog box, to save the calibration data, click OK.

Note: You must calibrate the pen for each screen orientation.
