GM5416E Unable to Complete Video Driver Installation Affected Products: Desktop Computers Affected Operating Systems: Windows Vista™ISSUE: With the Gateway GM5416E desktop computer, the video driver locks up or does not respond upon installation from Operating System CD recovery. A pop-under message box prompts to click OK. RESOLUTION: Restart the computer prior to installing the video driver. Use the ALT+TAB key combination to return to the pop-under window to click Restart system.
It is recommended that you restart the computer between each driver installation. |
