Random Memory Errors When Running Memtest86 on E-6500 Series Computer

ISSUE: On a Gateway E-6500 Series computer, you may experience errors when running the "Moving Inversions 8bit Pattern", "Moving Inversions 32bit Pattern", or "Random Number Test" when testing the memory.

RESOLUTION: Update the BIOS to the latest revision, PB94510J.15A.0218 or later. Version PB94510J.15A.0218 is filename PB94510J0218.exe, and can be downloaded from the Gateway Web site.
