TFTP Does Not Transfer an Image File if an E-4500 Computer is Restarted

ISSUE: When using TFTP to transfer an image file over the network to a Gateway E-4500 series computer, the transfer of the image may work on the first startup to the TFTP server, but any subsequent restarts to the TFTP server may fail. The image file may stop or stall after beginning the file transfer. You may have to power down the computer and disconnect the power cord for five minutes before the TFTP server transfers the image correctly.

RESOLUTION: Update the BIOS to the latest revision, PB94510J.15A.0218 or later. Version PB94510J.15A.0218 is filename PB94510J0218.exe, and can be downloaded from the Gateway Web site.
