Gateway Convertible Notebook Does Not Start Up

ISSUE: When trying to power on the Gateway® Convertible Notebook, the notebook does not start up. This occurs whether using AC or battery power.

RESOLUTION: Verify that the power button lock is not locked.

Power button lock

The power button must be unlocked for the power button to function properly.

The power button lock, located to the right of the power button, is used to lock the power button so the convertible notebook cannot be accidentally turned off when using it in tablet mode.
