Gateway M680 or NX850 May Have Low Audio During DVD Playback

ISSUE: The voice track may be inaudible during playback of a DVD.

RESOLUTION: Update the audio driver to version 6.14.10.0566 or later. This is filename D00245-001-002.exe, and can be downloaded from the Gateway Web site. Follow the instructions in the driver's readme.txt file for proper driver installation.

After the driver is installed, test the audio to ensure that the driver installed completely. The audio volume should now be significantly louder. Repeat this process if the volume level does not increase.
