M275 May Cause Video to Flash When Copying Movie to a DV Camera

ISSUE: The Gateway M275 notebook computer may cause video to flash when copying a movie to a DV camera. When using the IEEE1394 port to copy a movie to the DV camera, the resulting movie may flash when played back from the DV camera.

RESOLUTION: This issue can be resolved as noted in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 823979.

The registry key indicated in the first solution in this KB article may not exist by default on the affected computer. If not, the key can be created and populated as noted.
