No Sound From Both Front Audio Jacks and the Internal Speaker (If Equipped)

ISSUE: While the rear audio jacks work correctly, no sound comes from the front audio jacks or the internal speaker (if the computer has an internal speaker installed).

RESOLUTION: To resolve this issue, change the front panel settings.

  1. Click the Sound Effects icon in the systray. The icon resembles a blue square with a yellow sound emblem in the middle.

  2. On the Realtek screen, click the Speaker Configuration icon. On the Speaker Configuration screen, change the settings for the Front Panels from Not Connected. For the pink icon, select Mic In, and for the green icon, select Headphone.

  3. Close the Realtek screen by clicking the X in the top right corner of the window.
