Invalid Directory Error Message When Attempting to Run 9115 or 9210 SSU from SCCD 5.5 Boot Menu

ISSUE: When attempting to run the 9115 or 9210 System Setup Utility (SSU) from the boot menu on System Companion CD (SCCD) 5.5, the utility fails to launch. The error message below appears and you are returned to the Gateway Utilities submenu.

Bad command or file name

RESOLUTION: This issue will be resolved in the next release of the SCCD. As a workaround, exit to an MS-DOS prompt, change to the directory D:\Drivers\91159210\SSU\, and then type: SSU. This launches the 9115/9210 System Setup Utility.

  • Note: The SSU will fail to launch if it is not run from the directory listed.
