"Another Wireless LAN Utility is communicating with the wireless LAN adapter" Message in Intel PROSet

ISSUE: After scanning for available wireless networks in Intel® PROSet™, and then attempting to connect to the network, the following error may display.

This issue only occurs when using Intel PROSet to manage the wireless adapter rather than Microsoft® Windows® XP management on a Tablet, 200ARC, M275, 450ROG, 450RGH, or M505 computer.

RESOLUTION:
  1. From the Start menu, point to All Programs, Intel Network Adapters, and then click Intel® PROSet.

  2. In the Intel PROSet window, select PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI, and then click the Networks tab.

  3. On the Networks tab, click the Advanced button.

  4. In the System wide options window, in the Profile Management section, click Enable Profile management features, and then click OK.
