M275 Notebook Has Erratic Mouse Movement with Lid Closed

ISSUE: When the lid is closed on a M275 that is docked or using an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse, the mouse may move erratically. For example, if the user attempts to click on an object the mouse may automatically jump to the lower right corner of the screen. This is a random issue and only occurs with the lid nearly or completely closed. If the lid is open, the issue does not occur.

RESOLUTION: Download and install BIOS version 48.04.01 or later from the Gateway Web site.
