Gateway LD220 Produces Video Only in Black and White

ISSUE: Any video on the LD220 is black and white.

RESOLUTION: Select the appropriate output using Setup.

  1. In DVD mode, but without a DVD playing, press the Setup button on the remote.

  2. On the main menu, press the DOWN ARROW cursor button to select Preferences.

  3. Use the RIGHT ARROW cursor button to select the appropriate output, and then press ENTER.

  4. Use the RIGHT ARROW cursor button to return to the Preferences menu, and then exit the setup program. The screen should now be in full color.
