995 Server Exhibits STOP Error Starting Windows 2000 Advanced Server After Loading with Server Companion CD 5.0 Affected Products: Servers Affected Operating Systems: Windows® 2000 Advanced ServerISSUE: This issue appears on 995-series Servers with a Gateway 820 LTO autoloader attached and powered up after loading the server with Server Companion CD 5.0. Upon the first startup of Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Advanced Server, the server may exhibit a stop error on a blue screen with the following error: “STOP:(0x0000007BC0xF2423848 x0xCx0000034 0x00000000 0x00000000)INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE” RESOLUTION: Power off the Gateway 820 LTO Autoloader tape drive or disconnect it temporarily. Complete the Windows installation, and then reconnect the LTO device. |
