Gateway Systems Manager (GSM) Client 3.2 is an application included with many E-series and professional computers that can help you manage your computer and troubleshoot common computer problems before they become serious. The client installation enables you to view information and manage alerts for their local desktop or mobile computer. When used on a network with a GSM Administrator installation, this installation allows an administrator to manage the client computer, but does not permit you to view or manage other computers. Use GSM to:

  • View system inventory - GSM provides extensive information about the computer's hardware and software configuration.
  • Monitor a computer's health -GSM reports when the computer is in a warning or critical health state based on several health contributors such as temperature, voltage, free memory, and disk space.
  • Receive alerts for system events - GSM can use various alert methods to notify you of problems.
