Q: How does the server configure the SCSI IDs?

A: On the 995 server, the SCSI IDs are labeled from right to left, with ID 0 starting on the right and ID 4 on the far left. If the backplane connector (a 4-pin connector that connects to the motherboard) is on the secondary connector on the motherboard, then the SCSI ID on the right starts with 8 and the SCSI ID on the far left is 12.
