Q: Can I disable Hyper-Threading on this server?

A: Yes. In order to disable Hyper-Threading, you must start the server into the BIOS Setup utility by pressing the F2 key during POST. After you are in the BIOS, highlight the Main menu and then press the DOWN ARROW key until you locate Processor Settings, and then press the ENTER key. The next screen displays information about your processors. At the bottom of the screen is a section labeled Hyper-Threading Technology. Scroll down to the Hyper-Threading Technology section and then press ENTER to choose whether you want this option Enabled or Disabled.
