Q: How do I rebuild a failed drive in a HostRAID array?

A:
  1. Boot to the Adaptec HostRAID BIOS.

  2. Choose to Configure / View HostRAID settings.

  3. Highlight the array to be rebuilt, and then press the ENTER key.

  4. Choose Rebuild, and then press ENTER.

  5. Choose the driver background task priority, and then press ENTER.

  6. If the rebuild completes successfully, you see the following message:

    Build/Rebuild Completed
    Press Esc to exit to Menu
    Press Enter to exit to Menu
