General Alert Server Installation in Windows NT

  1. Click on Start | Settings | Control Panel. double-click on Add/Remove Programs.

  2. Click on the Install button.

  3. A screen appears requesting installation of the diskette. Place the ADAC Disk Array General Alert for Windows NT diskette in the floppy drive. Click Next.

  4. A screen appears with command line for the installation program. Click Finish.

  5. The Welcome screen appears. Click Next.

  6. Destination directory information appears. Click Next to accept the default.

  7. A screen requesting directory creation appears if the directory does not exist. Click Yes.

  8. Files are copied to the hard drive. When complete, Click OK.

Access the General Alert application by clicking on Start | Programs | General Alert | General Alert.
