Indicator LEDs and power button This graphic shows the two recessed switch holes, the two indicator LEDs below them, and the power button on the front of the server. The power button is the square white button in the upper right corner of this graphic. The recessed switch holes and LEDs are to the left of the power button.

From upper left in the graphic above:

  • Reset switch - Press a thin object, such as a straightened paper clip into this recessed switch hole to activate the reset switch. Resetting the server is similar to the CRTL+ALT+DELETE keyboard combination.
  • Hard drive activity LED (below the reset switch) - Lights to indicate when the hard drive is being accessed.
  • Keyboard inhibit/ECC reset switch - Pressing this recessed switch once locks the keyboard. Pressing it a second time unlocks the keyboard. Pressing it twice in rapid succession clears the ECC error indicator. It does not resolve an ECC error.
  • ECC error indicator LED (below the keyboard inhibit/ECC switch) - Lights to indicate an ECC error.
  • Power button - Press this button to turn on or turn off the server.
