Expansion slots These are the six expansion slots on the rear of the server. These slots support full size peripheral cards and correspond to the PCI slots on the backplane. The rightmost slot corresponds to the shared ISA/PCI slot.

As shown here, unused slots are covered with a blank bracket. This prevents dust and debris from entering the server case.
Additional PCI slot A seventh PCI slot is located to the left of the external SCSI connector.
