Power supplies These are the two 450 watt hot-pluggable power supplies that come standard with the 9250R rackmount server.

Each power supply is equipped with a power switch separate from the main power switch on the server case. This allows you to independently shut down one power supply while leaving the server running.

Each power supply has an indicator LED located to the left of its power switch. The LEDs indicate the following:

  • Lit green - indicates normal operation.
  • Lit orange - indicates that the server is plugged in but turned off.
  • Not lit - indicates a failed power supply or one that is not receiving power.

Each power supply has a voltage switch located to the right of its power switch. The voltage switches must be set in the proper position for the power source used where the server is located. An improper setting could permanently damage the server.
