This is the Gateway® / ALR 9250 series 4U rackmount server. This server supports a total of four Inte®l Pentium® II and Intel Pentium III Xeon processors. The SMP design supports up to four processor modules, complying to Intel MP Spec v1.1 and 1.4. Eight expansion slots are available on the rear of the server; one shared PCI/ISA and seven PCI slots. The server is equipped with Baseboard Management Controller, a special hardware management feature. The 9250R also supports two Symbios SCSI LVD controllers.

The server is powered with dual redundant 450-watt power supplies.
