LED Indicators

The front panel includes 12 LED indicators that signal specific messages when illuminated.

Upper LED Group
LED Position (Top to Bottom) Meaning (when illuminated)
Power On 1 Power is ON.
Hard Disk Activity 2 Hard Disk Drive is Active
CPU 1 3 CPU #1 Active
CPU 2 4 CPU #2 Active
ECC Fault 5 A correctable error has been detected in memory. Press the Keyboard Inhibit/ECC Reset button twice* to clear the fault
PS Fault 6 A power supply problem has been detected. Press the Keyboard Inhibit/ECC Reset button twice* to turn off the alarm. Refer to Chapter 9 for information on resolving power supply problems.
Lower LED Group
Hard Disk Activity - RAID Bay 1-6 Hard disk that corresponds to the LED is active

* If the keyboard is locked, press the button once to clear the fault and unlock the keyboard, or twice to clear the fault and relock the keyboard or data may become corrupted.
