AC-In power connectors connect the computer’s power supply subsystem to a power source (115VAC or 230VAC). The power supply subsystem contains up to four power supplies (3 standard, 1 optional), depending on how the system is configured. AC power is distributed to these power supplies by the Power Supply Subsystem cage. Connector A provides power to power supplies 1 and 2, and connector B provides power to power supplies 3 and, if installed, 4. It is recommended that each of the two power cords be plugged into a separate power circuit, so that a tripped circuit breaker will not bring down the system.
